The Don’t Die app from Bryan Johnson and his team at Blueprint is the best health app that I have ever used. Being competitive, I realized that in order to get a perfect score, I always had to get 7 hours of sleep. Since getting the app just over two weeks ago, I have only missed doing that twice.
The core purpose, according to the website, is to be “A gamified social health and longevity application designed to help users optimize health habits, track biological age, and share progress.” I have gotten and used so many apps, but none of them have kept my interest and enthusiasm like this one.
Again, according to the website, this is what you can expect, and keeps me coming back:
Key Features
- Don’t Die Score: A daily scoring system that tracks habits like sleep, movement, and overall activity to help you level up your health routines.
- Wearable Integrations: Automatically syncs data from platforms and devices including Apple Health, Health Connect, Oura, WHOOP, Fitbit, and Garmin.
- Community & Social: Location-based social networking allows users to find local longevity groups, host events, and compare daily scores with friends, family, and Bryan Johnson himself.
- Tracking & Measurement: Monitors physical tests, personal protocols, and biomarker data to measure long-term progress.
Even though I use Polar, that is not an issue because my watch syncs to Apple Health, and my Don’t Die data and score update instantly.
