Insanity Day Two – Plyometric Cardio Circuit

Although the first Insanity workout is 42:00, the good thing is that the clock starts running and Shaun T is talking about the warm up.   Then things start getting serious.   Honestly, I thought that the warm up started to get challenging enough that I had somehow missed the transition from the warm up and stretch to the actual workout.   But no, it isn’t hard to figure out when the workout actually begins and it sustains a high level of intensity from beginning to end.   Did I do it?   Yes.   Did I take a few short breaks as Shaun T suggested?   Yes.   Working out in our finished garage without the heat turned on and 46 degrees, did I sweat?   Yes, more than I have since running on the last warm day of fall last year.   Do I love the workout?   Absolutely!

My assessment as a lifelong athlete:   a shockingly good workout and Shaun T is The Man!

Why not get Insanity and find out yourself – INSANITY!   I need someone to “high five” at the end of the workout…
