The reason that I use Performance Energize and Tailwind Nutrition Endurance Fuel is that they work exceptionally well for me. Going back to 2010, when it was released, I started using E&E Energy and Endurance, which was part of the P90X line. It was later replaced with Performance Energize, which was released in 2015 and had Beta Alanine and Quercitin, which replaced the L-Tyrosine in the E&E.
During the Cocodona 250 three years ago, Tailwind released “Dauwaltermelon” with lime Endurance Fuel inspired by ultrarunner Courtney Dauwalter. The product worked so well fueling my workouts that I have continued to use it on my long runs ever since.
Performance Energize helped me get through a workout yesterday when I needed to have the energy to power through a run when it was 80 degrees and required an additional boost since it was an interval workout.
This morning, I did a hike in the Rio Grande bosque with my daughter and our three dogs. With them to manage, I had no time to fuel so I depended on a scoop of Tailwind in a soft flask and had plenty of energy the entire time.
When I find products that work, I stick with them and Energize and Tailwind have both worked 100% of the time for me during intense or long workouts.
