I struggle with strength training because I am a runner, still pursuing running goals even though I am a coach who knows its importance and value. Admitting that I did my first 10 Minute Muscle workout in 45 days isn’t easy. I’m a coach who emphasizes the importance of strength training. I finished 10 Minute Focus with Kelsey Heenan and loved the duration. I started 10 Minute Muscle on April 2nd but got sidetracked when one of my daughters got a dog, and I started dog-sitting while she was working overnight shifts at the hospital.

I have started more than 30 Beachbody/BODi programs and have completed most of them. My biggest issue isn’t the programs, obviously, but rather the season. I have been running for almost 60 years, and this is prime running season. Living in Albuquerque means having 300+ days of sun, little rain, little snow, and not much cold weather. I absolutely know that more than ever, I need strength training, but I would rather go out the door and run.
I admitted recently that I only did two strength workouts in May, and now I am determined to change that. Doing 10 Minute Muscle Week 2 Biceps 2 means that I am committed to being more consistent with my strength training and will share my progress here.
