Starting
Position:
  • Lie flat face up on a bench.
  • Hold the dumbbells in each hand close to each other and on the chest.

Movement:
  • Press the weight over your chest until your elbows are almost locked.
  • Hold the weights at the top maintaining a slight bend in the elbows.
  • Then return the weights to the starting position.

Key
Points:
  • Avoid locking your elbows at the top of the movement.
  • Breath out when extending your elbows.
  • Breath in when bending your elbows.

Caution:
  • Use light weights when performing this movement for the first time.
