Helping Guide You to Your Optimum Quality of Life

Give Thanks for 2025?

Give Thanks for 2025? If your response is no way, I can totally relate. This year has been the most challenging of my life. But I am still giving thanks for all of the blessings that I received and refuse to dwell on all of the challenges, heartbreaks, and stress that I experienced.

At the beginning of the year, my house was in foreclosure and I should have left with my two daughters. But I stayed in faith and knew that God had a plan that He would reveal in His time and for His purpose. I waited on Him as each month there was a new wrinkle in what seemed like, and was, a done deal. Month after month I waited in hope and expectation, and something came up or was delayed.

In June, the house was sold at auction, but I received nothing in writing that I should leave. Sadly, my ex convinced our daughter to move in with her, even though we have been divorced for 11 years, and she had no reason to intervene.

The situation finally came to what God had planned, and I was able to talk to the buyer and suggest that I rent the house and explained that I have raised my two daughters in the house as a single father, since they were 3 and 1. He agreed to my idea and I am still here, still in prayer with gratitude every day. The struggled continues every day but I know that His hand is upon us and that His will be done.

The worst year of my life is in many ways the best. It has deepened my faith and trust in the Lord and His promises. Whatever 2026 holds, I have been strengthened by the trials of 2025 and will go into the year with hope and gratefulness.
