I just listened to a
Team Beachbody
National Coach Call that brought me to tears. I want with all my heart for
you to achieve the success in your health, fitness and weight loss goals that
you deserve. Although as a full time coach I am available to answer your
questions and provide guidance 7 days a week, there are simple things that you
can do, too, that will make all the difference to your success.
Below there is an image of
my profile page and on
that page are a wealth of tools and resources and ways to help you achieve your
goals. Please utilize all of them so that you can maximize your chances and
improve your odds.
- Your profile picture helps you
connect with other people. You may think that doesn't matter, but peer support
is essential to success and some people connect based on what they see in you.
Whether you have 8 or 80 Buddies to work out with in WOWY is a huge difference
in terms of support and accountability
- Your before and after pictures tell
a story. Seeing where you started and where you have gotten to is like taking
pictures on an incredible journey. These pictures provides lots of incentive to
keep going and not stop!
- Having Buddies, as I mentioned
above, is essential because you will find that you always have someone to work
out with in WOWY. Since you have scheduled a workout and committed to other
people to be there with them to support them as they support you, you can't
make excuses and skip your workout.
- Filling in your actual profile and
your progress is absolutely necessary for you to get the most from your
member/coach relationship. I get to know you, your successes and failures and
how I can help you achieve your goals.
- Using
Facebook allows me to quickly
and easily answer your questions as well as being part of one of my Facebook
group where I post articles and share ideas. The
Team Howtobefit
Facebook group is for all members to increase their knowledge and share
their journey and the Born To Run Facebook
group is specifically for runners and their I provide knowledge and
experience from my 45 years as a competitive runner.
- Listing your workout programs and
your nutrition plan is also essential because it lets me see how you are
training and fueling your body. In order for us to have a working relationship,
I need to know what workouts you are doing and what is going into your body in
terms of quantity and quality of the foods that you eat.
- Journaling is a proven way to lose
weight and you have a much better chance of losing weight if you keep your Blog
up to date. You can also use it as a training journal to follow your progress
as you get healthier and more fit. The blog also helps me to see your successes
and failures and know how to help you more specifically.
- Logging your
workouts into WOWY is a must do, first and foremost to have a chance to win
the Daily
Sweepstakes prize of $500.00. A more fundamental reason, though, is that
you want to have a plan for your workouts that will get you to your goal. You
can either autoschedule them, or, if you are like me and doing a hybrid
program, schedule your workouts in WOWY a week in advance.
- The last, but not the least of the
tools and resources on your Team Beachbody profile page are the WOWY workout
groups. These are special interest groups and as you can see, I am in 5 groups
and I support all of them because they are important to me.

These are simple but essential tips that all
revolve around your Team Beachbody profile page. You probably never thought of
it as a tool to be successful but as you can see, it is like a Leatherman with
about 9 tools all in one place and intended for you to get the most out of your
membership in the Team Beachbody community and maximize your chances of
success.
