{"id":326,"date":"2008-11-30T09:29:29","date_gmt":"2008-11-30T17:29:29","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/howtobefit.com\/coach-blog\/?p=326"},"modified":"2008-11-30T09:39:17","modified_gmt":"2008-11-30T17:39:17","slug":"motivate-the-team-beachbody-coach-contest","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/howtobefit.com\/coach-blog\/2008\/11\/30\/motivate-the-team-beachbody-coach-contest\/","title":{"rendered":"Motivate the Team Beachbody Coach Contest"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Most of you have figured out by now that I work out virtually every day thanks to the fact the I have <a title=\"About Richard Dafter\" href=\"http:\/\/www.howtobefit.com\/about-us.htm\">successfully recovered from a chronic illness<\/a> that took away my confidence in my health. \u00a0 The new found confidence that I have in my health came as a direct result of having a full time, low stress job as a <a title=\"Team Beachbody Coach Richard Dafter\" href=\"http:\/\/www.teambeachbody.com\/howtobefit\">Team Beachbody coach<\/a> and following my passion for helping other people. \u00a0 Even with two children &#8211; Grace who is four and Carly who is two &#8211; that go to preschool a couple of days a week and are around other children all the time, I have successfully been able to stay healthy when they are picking up the occasional cold, etc.<\/p>\n<p>My workouts now, however, are running six or seven days a week at the end of a 12 hour day that consists of a few hours of work as a coach and at least 8 hours spent with my two adorable children playing and doing fun things. \u00a0 Having been a runner for 42 years, I can always muster the energy to go out and run, but I know in my heart, mind and body that I should also be doing strength training 3 times a week. \u00a0 I am a devotee of <a title=\"Tony Horton\" href=\"http:\/\/www.howtobefit.com\/Merchant2\/merchant.mvc?Screen=CTGY&amp;Store_Code=HPHRMS&amp;Category_Code=TH\">Tony Horton&#8217;s workout DVD&#8217;s<\/a> and have <a title=\"P90X Complete Fitness System\" href=\"http:\/\/www.howtobefit.com\/Merchant2\/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&amp;Store_Code=HPHRMS&amp;Product_Code=MDP90XDVDK3&amp;Category_Code=WD\">P90X<\/a>, <a title=\"10 Minute Trainer\" href=\"http:\/\/www.howtobefit.com\/Merchant2\/merchant.mvc?Screen=CTGY&amp;Store_Code=HPHRMS&amp;Category_Code=TH10MT\">10 Minute Trainer<\/a> and <a title=\"Power 90\" href=\"http:\/\/www.howtobefit.com\/Merchant2\/merchant.mvc?Screen=CTGY&amp;Store_Code=HPHRMS&amp;Category_Code=THP90\">Power 90<\/a> and love doing them. \u00a0 But since I have become a full time work at home dad, my motivation to come back from a run and do a strength training workout a few times a week has been lacking (okay, absent).<\/p>\n<p>So I thought to myself, why not have a contest where I offer a prize to the person who can motivate me to do a strength training workout 3 times a week each month. \u00a0 Sounds like a win-win plan to me! \u00a0 Here are the details:<\/p>\n<p>1. \u00a0 You can&#8217;t be a Team Beachbody Coach unless you are part of my team of coaches.<\/p>\n<p>2. \u00a0 You can&#8217;t be a Team Beachbody Community Member or Club member unless you are part of my team.<\/p>\n<p>3. \u00a0 You can email me at howtobefit@aol.com or you can send me a WOWY invitation or you can call me at 866 797-7336 (local in New Mexico is 505 797-7336).<\/p>\n<p>4.
