{"id":2679,"date":"2012-05-21T09:33:31","date_gmt":"2012-05-21T16:33:31","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/howtobefit.com\/coach-blog\/?p=2679"},"modified":"2012-05-21T09:33:31","modified_gmt":"2012-05-21T16:33:31","slug":"ease-exercise-routine","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/howtobefit.com\/coach-blog\/2012\/05\/21\/ease-exercise-routine\/","title":{"rendered":"Ease into Exercise with a Routine"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;ve been exercising regularly for years now, that it&#8217;s become a habit I  don&#8217;t think about, I just do it! It&#8217;s a non-negotiable part of my day  that I schedule 5 days a week. \u00a0 I often don&#8217;t <em>have<\/em> the time, but I <em>make<\/em> the time for my health. Combining strength training, cardio and  flexibility training with high intensity intervals gives my body and  mind the best results.<\/p>\n<p>My routine has made it easier to keep my appointment with my workout.  When I get up in the morning, I drink 2 glasses of water to replenish  and wake up my body, \u00a0 before eating a <a href=\"http:\/\/fitnesswithmolly.blogspot.com\/2010\/09\/eat-breakfast-to-start-off-right.html\">good breakfast<\/a> containing fruit, whole grains, and lean protein with one cup of  coffee. After breakfast, I get my workout clothes on and gather my  gear. \u00a0 Most days, I get the kids off to school before my workout, which  allows quality time together making healthy breakfasts and packing  lunches. As a parent, I try to <a href=\"http:\/\/fitnesswithmolly.blogspot.com\/2010\/10\/lead-by-example-to-raise-healthy-kids.html\">lead by example<\/a> and show how exercise, <a href=\"http:\/\/fitnesswithmolly.blogspot.com\/2011\/09\/scheduling-meals-and-activities-for.html\">planning healthy meals<\/a> and making positive choices is important.<\/p>\n<p>Since I usually eat breakfast about 3 hours before I exercise, morning  snack time is 45 minutes &#8211; one hour prior to my workout. I&#8217;ll fuel up  with a mini-meal(about 200 calories) containing <a href=\"http:\/\/fitnesswithmolly.blogspot.com\/2011\/02\/carbohydrates-simple-or-complex.html\">complex carbs<\/a> and protein to give me a slow release of energy for endurance and drink  more water. Some of my favorite options are: a whole grain waffle with  peanut butter, cheese with fruit or a few whole grain crackers, an egg  with orange juice, greek yogurt with fruit or whole grain cereal, or \u00a0 <a href=\"http:\/\/teambeachbody.com\/shop\/-\/shopping\/EandETub?referringRepId=46500\">Energy and Endurance pre-workout drink<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>During my workout, I use lip balm and chew gum to help keep my mouth and lips moist throughout my <a href=\"http:\/\/www.beachbodycoach.com\/fitwithmolly\">exercise routine<\/a>. \u00a0  I drink a lot of water and continue hydrating throughout the day. \u00a0  Post-workout, it&#8217;s important to cool down with a great stretch to  increase my flexibility, and eat protein to help repair and build my  muscles. \u00a0 I follow up with a <a href=\"http:\/\/teambeachbody.com\/shop\/-\/shopping\/P90XRRFTub?referringRepId=46500\">post-workout recovery drink<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.shakeology.com\/fitwithmolly\">Shakeology<\/a> later on in the day for increase in energy, health, immunity and more.<\/p>\n<div><a href=\"http:\/\/4.bp.blogspot.com\/-gQYWKPljBhs\/TyB9TPhT6QI\/AAAAAAAAASQ\/CFBoC2tMHTg\/s1600\/exercise+is+reward\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/4.bp.blogspot.com\/-gQYWKPljBhs\/TyB9TPhT6QI\/AAAAAAAAASQ\/CFBoC2tMHTg\/s320\/exercise+is+reward\" border=\"0\" alt=\"\" width=\"212\" height=\"320\" \/><\/a><\/div>\n<p>I don&#8217;t always feel like working out, but I never regret it when I&#8217;m  finished. Whether I&#8217;m doing a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.beachbodycoach.com\/fitwithmolly\">Beachbody home-fitness program<\/a> with <a href=\"http:\/\/www.blogger.com\/%20http:\/\/teambeachbody.com\/shop\/-\/shopping\/P90X?referringRepId=46500\">P90X<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/teambeachbody.com\/shop\/-\/shopping\/TurboFire?referringRepID=46500%E2%80%A8\">TurboFire<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/teambeachbody.com\/shop\/-\/shopping\/BRAZILBUTTLIFT?referringRepId=46500\">Brazil Butt Lift<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/teambeachbody.com\/shop\/-\/shopping\/CHALEAN?referringRepId=46500%E2%80%A8\">ChaLEAN Extreme,<\/a> <a href=\"http:\/\/teambeachbody.com\/shop\/-\/shopping\/RevAbs?referringRepId=46500\">RevAbs<\/a>,<a href=\"http:\/\/teambeachbody.com\/shop\/-\/shopping\/HipHopAbs?referringRepId=46500\"> Hip Hop Abs<\/a> or <a href=\"http:\/\/teambeachbody.com\/shop\/-\/shopping\/Insanity?referringRepId=46500\">Insanity<\/a> or exercising in the gym, I always follow the same routine. \u00a0 \u00a0 Once I  begin, my endorphins start flowing with happy,  energized feelings, increasing my mood instantly. \u00a0 I feel less stress,  anger, frustration, \u00a0 and I&#8217;m ready to take on my day better equipped to  handle physical and emotional challenges. \u00a0 Starting isn&#8217;t always easy,  but sometimes, it&#8217;s hard to stop! Engaging support from other people  keeps me accountable and it&#8217;s fun too. Creating positive habits helps me  maintain a happy life with a healthy body, mind and soul. It doesn&#8217;t  matter where you start with exercise, just start! Begin with what you  can do and gradually build your intensity and time up each day.
