You read all the books, gather all the information, map out a \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t nutritional strategy, design your own workout schedule (or have a trainer do it \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t for you), and you embark on the journey to a leaner, more muscular \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t physique\u00e2\u20ac\u00a6and it starts working! But the minute you begin getting results, \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t you fall off the wagon. You binge, you skip workouts, you cheat. What&#8217;s \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t most perplexing (and upsetting) is that you know what you should do\u00e2\u20ac\u00a6 but \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t no matter how hard you try, you can&#8217;t get yourself to do it! It&#8217;s as \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t if some unseen force is sabotaging you and controlling your behavior like you \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t were a puppet on a string.<\/p>\n<p>If this scenario sounds all \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t too familiar, then the answer to your frustrations might lie deep within your \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t subconscious mind in something called your \u00e2\u20ac\u0153SELF CONCEPT.\u00e2\u20ac\u009d \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t Unfortunately, the average person, at the mere mention of self concept, self \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t worth or self image usually cries, \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Oh no, not another one of these cheesy \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t self-help articles!\u00e2\u20ac\u009d<\/p>\n<p>Whenever I mention self \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t concept to a client who has never been exposed to the idea before, their eyes \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t glaze over and they get a distant look as if they were saying, \u00e2\u20ac\u0153okay Tom, \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t I&#8217;ll be out here in la-la land daydreaming for a while\u00e2\u20ac\u00a6 pinch me when \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t you start talking about the good stuff like thermogenic supplements, split \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t routines, killer ab workouts and interval training, ok?\u00e2\u20ac\u009d<\/p>\n<p>You may not understand or \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t appreciate this \u00e2\u20ac\u0153self concept\u00e2\u20ac\u009d and \u00e2\u20ac\u0153self image\u00e2\u20ac\u009d stuff yet. \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t However, if you choose to ignore this information, you would be making a grave \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t error.
