I am now teaming up with my daughter and truly making this a family business. I have referred to <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/howtobefit.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Howtobefit.com<\/a><\/strong> as being family-owned and operated since 1995, when I launched the website. Now I finally have a daughter old enough to be part of the business and to help grow it, and it is family-run and operated.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/howtobefit.com\/\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-10653\" src=\"https:\/\/howtobefit.com\/coach-blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/080622-piedra-lisa-trail.png\" alt=\"Daughter Grace &amp; Dad - Piedra Lisa Trail\" width=\"625\" height=\"832\" srcset=\"https:\/\/howtobefit.com\/coach-blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/080622-piedra-lisa-trail.png 625w, https:\/\/howtobefit.com\/coach-blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/080622-piedra-lisa-trail-225x300.png 225w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 625px) 100vw, 625px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Grace turned 21 three weeks ago, and she and I are now both <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/click-myl.ink\/2p8ewtcp\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">BODi Ambassadors<\/a><\/strong> and brand ambassadors for all of the products that we use in trail running and hiking. She started running with 1Ks, then together we ran 5Ks. Starting in 2022, we were running trails and hiking on virtually every trail on the west side of the Sandias.<\/p>\n<p>Now she is in college studying to become a nurse and working as a nurse&#8217;s assistant at UNMH. To celebrate the start of our business together, I gave her <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/click-myl.ink\/2p8ewtcp\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Shakeology<\/a><\/strong> to nourish her body and provide energy in her overnight shifts.<\/p>\n<p>My plan is to grow <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/click-myl.ink\/2p8ewtcp\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Grace&#8217;s business<\/a><\/strong> to provide her extra income in the long term. In the short term, we are both working out in the BODi Gym and getting ready for more Albuquerque and New Mexico adventures in 2026.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div style=\"margin-top: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px;\" class=\"sharethis-inline-share-buttons\" ><\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Teaming up is a dream come true for a parent.
