Decisions for the Next 365 Days
Yes, counting today, we have 365 days
left this year to make every day count. It's a leap year and I am using
yesterday as my free day!
Everyone talks about resolutions, but
what we really have to do is to make decisions that won't be changed. We need
to make plans and stick with them. We need to form good habits and not break
them (and break the old ones that we need to break). We have to be accountable
to each other so that when this day comes in 2013, we will be able to look back
and say, "I had a great year because I decided to get fit and healthy, I made a
plan, I formed good habits and because of being accountable to each other, I
look and feel the best I ever have."
What decisions do you have to make?
What's in your plan? What habits to you have to form and which ones do you have
to break? Who are you accountable to?
I entered
The
Beachbody Challenge and I am sticking to it until I reach my goal in March.
My plan is to do Power 90 for a month, P90X for a month and then start P90X2.
My running training plan will alternate with these strength workouts in the
next 3 months. I
created
this plan after being diagnosed with a thyroid issue and realizing that I
needed to be more sensible.
How will I be accountable to you? Over
the holidays, I didn't send out any SuperGym invitations, but starting
tomorrow, you'll be getting invitations from me regularly to
work out in the
SuperGym. Given the fact that you have about a 1 in 5,000 chance to win
$500 without buying a lottery ticket, why wouldn't you log in every single
workout that you do!
I am generally highly motivated, but I
watched a video that my business partner
Ric Terrell
posted on Facebook that has gotten me even more motivated. I am from the Rocky
generation (who isn't, right) and the music from this video will get you pumped
up like a Rocky movie and the visuals will get you so fired up that you will
want to enter
The
Beachbody Challenge and do a workout right then and there.

Together we are better. I will help you
stick to your plan and reach your goals and I need you to help me stick to my
plan and reach my goals. I couldn't ask for better accountability partners.
Let's do this and let's do this together in 2012! |
